Well, THAT was a fun day! Tuesday morning arrived bright and fresh, the road to DC unfurling in a friendly spring sight.
Got some cool insights I’m still unpacking. I had typed out this detailed metaphor about how we’re all like DJs, but it collapsed under the weight of it’s pomposity. Good riddance. (In all fairness, that paragraph is tottering dangerously close to a similar fate.)
Instead, I’d like to show you this nifty math problem. I do a monthly astronomy series in Fairfax, and boy are there some great discussions. One of my buddies there showed me this riddle. He said he saw this T-shirt one day in a restaurant, and delighted the wearer by solving it.
The question is: what college does this denote?
I’ll post the answer soon.
PS. Got a new favorite phrase, also from the fellow who showed me this clever puzzle: Non-Euclidian Geometry. I think I’ll try to put it as much out of context as possible for maximum punch. Maybe at the gym. “Man, my traps are killing me. Gonna add some whey proteins and non-Euclidian geometry, dude. Gnarly.”
