Made it on the Six O’clock News.
(But for a good thing.)
This Veteran’s Day was magnificent. I got to sit around and listen to pals tell their service stories on the C’Dogs podcast, while Kate Nuechterlein from Channel 29 recorded it for her show.
It was meta, man.
She was so kind and patient, making everyone feel right at home, and captured our story beautifully. Three cheers for Kate!

Not on the picture, man. HERE. (Gotcha! :)
Then, every Army paralegal in the world stopped by from the JAG school up the street for a medal pinning. We all sang the Star-Spangled Banner and I played Lee Greenwood and all the soldiers, current and former, recited the Oath of Enlistment.
Then we ate snacks.
The music played, and the new soldiers mingled with the old, sitting, and listening. It was beautiful.
When I talk to these guys, and then get to sit around in peace with the luxury of deciding what color of cupcake to try, well…
I’ve got a lot to say “Thanks” for.
What a day!
